“We must reforest the minds to heal the earth”
the idea for this illustration comes from this sentence, often repeated by indigenous spokespeople of the Brazilian Amazon.
The goal was to represent the theme of climate change from a non-anthropocentric perspective, focusing on an aesthetic and political vision of the forest.
It is necessary to rethink the role of humanity in a more humble way, recognizing ourselves as an active part in the change, as long as this occurs in harmony with the living world of which we are part.
The T-shirt therefore represents the change that occurs from within, with a nature capable of regenerating itself through a collective and multispecies effort.
Plants, flowers, animals and atmospheric agents collaborate to generate this push towards rebalancing, reminding us that we are an element of an ecosystem much larger than us.
Theme was volunteering.
